Frequently asked questions
Are my videos uploaded anywhere?
No. VidMask processes everything on your device using Apple's Vision and AVFoundation frameworks. Your videos are never uploaded to any server, and we never have access to them.
Does it detect every face and plate?
VidMask uses AI-assisted detection that automatically finds most faces and sensitive regions, but no automatic system is perfect. Always review your video and use the manual tools to fine-tune before exporting.
Which devices are supported?
VidMask is built for iPhone running iOS 17 or later. iPad support may come in a future update.
What blur styles can I use?
Mosaic (pixelation), gaussian blur, a black bar over the eyes, an emoji cover, and a custom avatar image. You can apply different styles to different targets.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Both the monthly and yearly plans are managed through your Apple ID and can be cancelled anytime in your App Store account settings.
